1.1 Purpose
These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") set out the terms of access to and use of the website scylla-interactive.com (hereinafter "the Site"), operated by Scylla Interactive, as well as the rights and obligations of members (hereinafter "Members" or "Users").
Access to and use of the Site imply unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1.2 Access to the Site and minimum age
Registration and use of the Site are reserved for persons at least 15 years of age, in accordance with the digital age of consent set by the regulations applicable in France (Article 8 of the General Data Protection Regulation). Persons under 15 must obtain authorization from a holder of parental authority before registering.
By registering, you certify that you meet the required age or have the necessary authorization.
1.3 Member account
Creating an account requires providing accurate information (display name, email address). You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity carried out from your account. Logging in via a third-party service (for example Google, or Discord where this option is available) is subject, in addition to these Terms, to that third-party service's own terms of use.
You agree to notify us without delay of any unauthorized use of your account that you become aware of.
1.4 Content posted by members
The Site allows members to post content (posts, topics, blog articles, comments, images, files, reviews, etc. — hereinafter "Content").
You remain solely responsible for the Content you post. By posting Content, you warrant that it does not infringe the rights of third parties (copyright, image rights, privacy, etc.) and that it complies with applicable law and the community rules.
The following types of content are, in particular, prohibited:
unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory content;
threatening content, or content that condones violence;
content that is pornographic or shocking to a minor audience;
spam or unsolicited advertising;
content infringing a third party's intellectual property rights;
content containing a third party's personal information without their consent.
The moderation team reserves the right to remove, edit, hide, or move any Content that does not comply with these Terms or the community rules, without prior notice, as well as to suspend or terminate a Member's access in the event of a breach.
By posting Content on the Site, you grant Scylla Interactive a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and republish that Content, to the extent necessary for the operation and promotion of the Site. You retain full ownership of the copyright in your Content.
1.5 Community rules
Specific conduct rules (community charter, rules specific to certain forums, etc.) may be published separately and apply in addition to these Terms.
1.6 Shop and purchases
The Site may offer, through its shop section, the purchase of digital products or services. Unless otherwise stated, prices are shown inclusive of all taxes. Payments are processed by third-party providers (in particular Stripe and/or PayPal); Scylla Interactive never has access to your full banking details.
Given that most of the products offered are digital in nature (access, online content, or benefits), the right of withdrawal provided for under the French Consumer Code may not apply once performance has begun with your express consent, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code. The specific terms applicable to purchases (payment, refunds, subscriptions, cancellation) will be detailed, where applicable, in dedicated Terms of Sale.
1.7 Site availability
Scylla Interactive strives to ensure the Site's accessibility but does not guarantee continuous availability, and cannot be held liable for interruptions, in particular for maintenance reasons or for causes beyond its control.
1.8 Liability
The Site is provided "as is". Scylla Interactive cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the Site or the inability to access it, nor for Content posted by members, who remain solely responsible for it.
1.9 Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be amended at any time. Members will be informed of substantial changes and may be asked to accept them again. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
1.10 Termination
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Scylla Interactive reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Member's access in the event of non-compliance with these Terms.
1.11 Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
